How should I check the sources in my report?
Review identity, dates, and context before relying on a finding.
Some statements in a report are backed by a source, and others are AI interpretations. They are different kinds of information, so review both in context.
A quick source check
- To open a source, select the small numbered link beside a statement in Overview, or a source or domain link in another section.
- Compare the name, photo, location, and other details to confirm that the source is about the same person.
- Check when it was published, and whether it describes the present or the past.
- Read beyond the headline, and separate facts, opinions, allegations, and AI-generated conclusions.

If a source is unavailable or is about someone else, send support the report section and the source URL. A confidence label is not independent verification.
